PERCENTAGE RATE BREAKDOWN:

Where applicable Brave New Eco works in collaboration with an architectural building designer to design the renovation and extension so that the interior, built, landscape and sustainable retrofit changes can be realised in a cohesive and functional way.  Our combined fees are between 8-12% of the project value depending on the overall value and scope. We are happy to discuss your particular needs and the best way to achieve the outcome you desire, so please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Our project percentage rates are on a sliding scale depending on the size of the project. 

STAGE ONE and TWO: Concept and detailed design is calculated at 5-10%+GST of the project cost. 

STAGE THREE: Contract administration is calculated at 5% +GST of the project cost/ OR $2000+GST per month for the duration of build.

The design fees are outside the build budget. These rates are subject to change. 

SCOPE OF WORK COST ESTIMATES: 

Here we have listed very broad costing estimates for interior design budgets in a room by room situation, this is taking into account the services of trades, joinery, build and supply items. 

KITCHEN: $50,000 - $100,000

LIVING AREAS: $5,000 - $15,000

BATHROOM: $25,000 - $50,000

ENSUITE: $20,000 - $40,000

LAUNDRY: $15,000 - 45,000

WARDROBES/ WIR: $3,000 - $10,000

STUDY: $5,000 - $15,000
