Liliwah Stonehouse is a new home in the magical landscape of the Rees Valley in Glenorchy, Aotearoa. A compact, high-performance retreat set at the foot of the Richardson Mountains, on four hectares of wild mountainside. Designed by Brave New Eco in collaboration with New Zealand builders ModBoxx and DK Architecture, the house draws on the vernacular of the classic tramping hut while delivering passive house thermal performance and a rigorous commitment to local materials.
